Brigham Young wrote the Mormon Creed because he felt strongly that each person should tend to their own business instead of looking over their shoulders at others. The Mormon Creed as it was known was printed on newspaper mastheads and used in various places. This artistic version of the Mormon Creed, designed by Ty Mortensen, was inspired by the actual antique sign.
